Mrs. Harris- Kindergarten

Hello, my name is Michelle Harris. I am currently teaching kindergarten at All Saints. Before teaching Kindergarten, I taught preschool at All Saints for two years. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Human Development from Binghamton University and my Master’s degree in Elementary Education from SUNY Cortland. Teaching Kindergarten is my passion.
I live in Vestal with my husband and two wonderful children, Andrew and Isabella. I was born and raised in Binghamton, NY. Some things I enjoy while I’m not working are spending time with my family, biking and going to the beach.

I’m a firm believer in the attributes of a Catholic School education as I have watched my own two children prosper here.

Mrs. Barr – 4 Year Old Pre-School

I attended All Saints from 5th-8th grade when it was Seton Catholic Middle school. I have many great memories which makes it extra fun to work here.  Mr. M. was my P.E teacher and Mrs. Page was my second grade teacher at Saint Anthony’s.

I graduated from Binghamton University with a B.A. in Applied Social Science with a concentration in Early Childhood Education and Binghamton University with a Masters in Social Science.

This is my 6th year at All Saints. Prior to All Saints I worked at Park Terrace Nursery School and taught religious education for Our Lady of Sorrows church.

I enjoy reading and running and spending time with my husband, Chris, and three children, Ben, Max and Riley.

I absolutely adore working with this age group.  They are so precious and innocent—truly gifts from God. They make me laugh everyday!

Mrs. Balles-Second Grade

I come to All Saints with a long connection with Catholic Schools. I began my own education at St. Joseph’s School (Endicott) and continued my high school years at Seton Catholic High School, which was originally housed in this building. After receiving my BA in Elementary Education from SUNY Cortland, I taught for 4 years at Afton Central School, and earned my MS in Early Childhood. Following my marriage to my husband, Dan, I taught in Catholic schools once again in Elmira, NY (St. Casimir’s) and then at my alma mater, St Joseph’s, teaching there until its closure. In addition, both of our children attended Catholic schools at St. Joseph’s and SCCHS, where the faith and values begun at home were continued and strengthened.

After coming to all Saints, I first taught 4th grade, and then returned to teaching 2nd grade. I continue my teaching ministry here at All Saints, which remains the same; to teach children to strive for excellence, while making God the center of their lives.
