All Saints PTO welcomes our returning and new families to the 2014-2015 school year! We are excited to begin all over again to make this a successful school year for students, their families, and for our teachers and staff.
Two important goals of our PTO are to enrich our children’s All Saints experience and build community spirit at our school. We accomplish this by sponsoring events/activities throughout the school year and supplementing resources to the school (i.e. fundraising to aid in student field trips, cultural events, providing mini grant funds to teachers for additional classroom necessities, etc.).
All Saints PTO sponsored many events last school year, some of which included:
- All Saints Night at the Binghamton Mets
- Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week
- All Saints Fun Day (an entire day of activities, races, games)
- Funding school parties
- Supporting the All Saints Auction in the spring (which raises funds for school upgrades)
- Adult team Trivia Night at All Saints School
- Chinese cultural assembly
- School-wide garage sale to benefit Half-the-Sky Organization that works with orphanages in China (this was a school service project as well)
The Success of our PTO depends highly on the strength of parent volunteers! Also, volunteering to become a grade parent is one way to be involved in facilitating communication of PTO events to our school families.
All Saints PTO participates in fundraising to help make what we want to accomplish possible. We are excited that our school will be participating in the Race for Education fundraiser on November 13, 2014. Much information will be forthcoming!
PTO meeting are help on the first Thursday of each month starting at 6:30 p.m. in the school cafeteria. We look forward to seeing many new faces at our meetings on September 11th at 6:30! Also look for PTO information on All Saints’ Facebook page, All Saints of Seton.
